Key Stage 2
At this stage, workshops become more collaborative and structured, blending storytelling, illustration, and environmental themes.
Â
Activities are designed to build teamwork, adaptability, and confidence in communication, while helping students develop creative and critical thinking for future interdisciplinary learning.
Â
Option 1:
Â
Postcard Writing & Storyboarding – In this workshop, participants create postcards and storyboards inspired by green spaces.
Â
Through reflective journaling and peer critique, they strengthen critical thinking, self awareness, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly, empowering them as creative and adaptable contributors
Option 2:
Â
Storytelling Map – This workshop uses the structure of a board game to guide participants through collaborative storytelling. The 'game board' is a map with key points, and at each stage, participants use and develop their storytelling, writing, and drawing skills to move the story forward together.
Â
Throughout, they discuss environmental themes, face creative challenges, and ensure the story makes sense as a group. Through sharing and feedback, they gain confidence, communication, teamwork, and creative thinking.
